A good quality fresh food café in the Baron-Upon-Humber region is recruiting for an Assistant Chef
A fresh food, rural café that is open for breakfast and lunch as well as afternoon teas is seeking an Assistant Chef to work closely with the Head Chef in a two chef team. The café has a separate breakfast and main menu with dishes prepared using ingredients sourced from local, high quality food producers with up to 150 covers being served on the busiest days. In this role of Assistant Chef you will be expected to work five days out of seven including weekends with shifts running from 8am to 4pm making this an ideal role for a chef seeking better working hours with their next role in a property that is pushing forward in order to increase the food business.
A strong chef who has worked as a Sous Chef or is a very strong Chef de Partie with all round cooking skills is required as it’s a small team of chefs so you will need to work on all sections. The ability to cope well under pressure when working in a busy kitchen is essential. A chef who is looking for a role where they can continue to learn and develop their own skills within an ambitious kitchen would be ideal.
*This is a permanent role*
