A country hotel located in the Dumfries region (within ½ hour drive) is recruiting for a Chef de Partie role
A Chef de Partie role is available at a small, country hotel with a restaurant that offers diners fresh, seasonal dishes with a focus on sourcing as much produce locally as possible. The restaurant serves 60-70 covers at the weekend for dinner as well as 20 covers for lunch with slightly lower numbers midweek. The venue also has a private dining room and hosts weddings. As Chef de Partie you will be working within a team of chefs assisting with the preparation of dishes for the restaurant including ‘a la carte’ and specials whilst also creating banquets for the special events taking place at the property.
The Head Chef is seeking a Chef de Partie who will bring a positive attitude to the kitchen alongside the willingness to learn new skills and follow the direction of the senior chefs. The role would be ideal for a Chef de Partie who already has good quality, fresh food experience but applicants from very strong Commis Chefs ready to step up would also be considered.
