A Chef is required to join the kitchen of a fresh food pub located in a Sheffield suburb
A popular pub is recruiting for a Chef to complete the team of three working in the kitchen preparing good quality pub food. The pub is open for food for dinner only so your shifts will be from 2pm to 9pm or 10pm depending on the day with the average working week being 30 hours spread over Thursday to Sunday. This is a great time for a Chef to join this pub as the owners are seeking to further develop the already popular food offering in order to increase food revenue including pushing the outside dining the warmer months. The Head Chef is seeking to broaden the food offering by developing the grill section of the menu whilst maintaining the small plates, griddles, sharing platters the pub has become known for.
A chef who has been working in busy kitchens where you were working with fresh food is required to take on this role. It is important that you are flexible with the ability to work on a number of sections whilst also being prepared to support the Head Chef with their role when needed.
