An Executive Head Chef role is available at a fantastic hotel in the Lake District National Park
The role of Executive Head Chef is available at an award winning hotel that has received multi-million pound investment into its facilities and design. In this role of Executive Head Chef you will oversee the food operation at the property with the role expecting you to remain ‘hands on’ in the kitchen whilst also taking on the management responsibilities of the role. The hotel has a two AA Rosette, modern British restaurant; bar/ lounge dining and a conference/ banqueting department. This is a great opportunity to join the property with the expectation that you can push the food standards further forward by creating your own menus whilst ensuring that your large team of chefs have the capacity to work to the standards you implement. There is a fantastic bonus scheme with this role which is based on GP, hygiene ratings, retaining the AA Rosettes and in house training.
A highly experienced Head Chef or Executive Head Chef who have gained experience working in multi-outlet hotels accredited with at least two AA Rosettes but are also used to cooking for large numbers. It is essential that you wish to remain in a ‘hands on’ role in the kitchen, chefs who wish to remain in an office role will not be considered for the position. Excellent round cooking skills, creative menu design, strong team management experience and an in depth knowledge of kitchen management and finances are essential.
