A multi-AA Rosette hotel in North Yorkshire is seeking a strong, fine dining focused Pastry Chef
The Head Chef of a leading hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef to focus on the 30 cover, fine dining restaurant at the venue which has won awards and multiple accolades for the high standards of cooking on display. In this role of Pastry Chef you will have full autonomy to create your own dessert menus which will feature four seasonal, cutting edge dishes as well as creating the breads and the petit fours. The position will also require to take charge of the pastry section being responsible for the ordering, stock, hygiene and admin for the pastry section as well as training the junior chefs on the pastry section.
The role needs a top end Pastry Chef who has been working in multi-AA Rosette or Michelin awarded kitchens where you were fully focused on fine dining. With the freedom to create your own menus it is important that you are creative with a strong awareness of current trends for dishes including presentation.
