A Senior Sous Chef is required to work at a good quality, fresh food pub in Cornwall
The Head Chef of a fresh food pub is recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef to work closely with them in order to manage the kitchen and continue to build the venue’s reputation as a good choice for diners.As Senior Sous Chef it is important that you have all round skills in the kitchen whilst also being confident in your ability to lead others and run busy service times when required.The pub serves menus featuring fresh, seasonal produce with plenty of Cornish ingredients included in the dishes with an average of 30-50 covers a service but the summer months are particularly busy with the increase in visitors to the region.
A Sous Chef with a stable CV based in kitchens where you were cooking freshly made dishes to high standards is required to take on this role.All round cooking skills are essential but it is also important that all candidates are confident team leaders with a good grasp of kitchen management who can fully support the Head Chef with their role.
