A Sous Chef is required to work at a modern British restaurant in Manchester
Joining a large, talented team of chefs this Sous Chef role will require you to create modern British dishes based on the classics to the high standards expected at the venue. As Sous Chef you should be confident working on all sections in the kitchen whilst also working closely with the Head Chef including running the kitchen when required and having an input on the menu design. The venue focuses on using fantastic British produce at the height of its season with the kitchen being very well equipped so that the latest presentation and cooking techniques can be employed. The restaurant is open for dinner service throughout the week and Sunday lunch allowing you to work straight shifts with no early starts.
A strong Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step up who has been working to at least two AA Rosette standards in their most recent roles is required. It is important that you have the ability to train and supervise the junior members of the team whilst taking charge of service times. All chefs should remain passionate about cooking with excellent all round cooking skills.
