A Sous Chef role is available at a pub offering fresh food located in Llandudno
A central pub that has a country pub feel is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team in the kitchen creating all the dishes from scratch. The pub has built a good dining reputation with menus featuring pub classics as well as more creative, seasonal specials which feature produce from the local area. The Head Chef has autonomy on the menus with the scope to encourage a Sous Chef to also have an input and bring their own ideas to the menu design. As a senior member of the kitchen team you will be expected to assist with the management of the five junior chefs in the kitchen as well as run the department including busy service times when required and support with basic kitchen admin. The pub is part of a fantastic company that can offer excellent training prospects with long term career opportunities.
An experienced Sous Chef who has been working in similar kitchens where you were cooking for large numbers with all dishes created from fresh ingredients prepared in house. An ambitious chef who is looking for a long term opportunity where they can continue to develop their own career whilst also being encouraged to be creative in your role would be ideal.
