A Sous Chef role offering good working hours is available at a Golf Course in North Nottinghamshire
A driven Sous Chef is required to join the team working in the busy kitchen of a golf course which offers relaxed, informal dining in its restaurant as well as hosting regular functions and events. The restaurant has a separate breakfast menu which is incredibly popular but also offers hot meals, snacks, seasonal specials and a Sunday lunch menu. In this role of Sous Chef you will be expected to support the Head Chef including running the kitchen in their absence, managing the other two chefs to ensure that the standards in place are upheld whilst dealing well with the fast pace service times. The shifts at the venue will require you a combination of 7am to 3pm and 12pm to 8pm shifts with an average of 40 hours worked a week.
A Sous Chef who has been working in high volume, fresh food kitchens but is seeking a role with better working hours whilst remaining ambitious in their career would be ideal. Previous experience of running service, catering for a fast paced restaurant operation and for special events is essential.
