A high quality hotel in Rutland is recruiting for a Sous Chef with strong pastry skills
Role:
The Head Chef of a country hotel that has won awards for the high standards of cooking on display in the restaurant is seeking to employ a Sous Chef. In this particular Sous Chef role you will be working across the sections in the kitchen including spending time on pastry so must be happy to work in both the hot and cold kitchen. The hotel operates a 50 cover restaurant where the Head Chef is pushing the standards forward in order to gain further awards and accolades so needs a Sous Chef who can support them with this ambition. The venue is also a popular venue for weddings, banquets and conferences which you will also be catering for.
Requirements:
A Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef who has a stable CV which highlights plenty of experience within sauce, larder and pastry with the ability to move efficiently between sections is required for this role. It is important that you have worked in high quality, fresh food operations where you were cooking award winning restaurant dishes alongside banquets. All chefs should be confident team leaders with the ability to run the kitchen when required.
