A rural dining pub located in Oxfordshire is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team
A privately owned pub that has been awarded two AA Rosettes is seeking a strong Sous Chef to be a senior member of the kitchen team. The venue offers an ‘a la carte’ menu as well as a set menu and Sunday Lunches with produce sourced from local suppliers with dishes following the seasons closely. As this is a Sous Chef role you will be expected to be capable of working on all sections in the kitchen but will also be involved with the management of the junior chefs; assisting with the kitchen paperwork and will be given an input on the design of the menu.
A stable chef who has good experience working in minimum one AA Rosette awarded kitchen as a Sous Chef or they will consider CVs from Junior Sous Chefs who are ready to take the next step in their career. A positive attitude with the ability to motivate others to work to the standards expected at the property is essential.
