A Sous Chef role is available at a country house hotel located in Shropshire
A country hotel with an award winning restaurant accredited with AA Rosettes is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen. The hotel operates the modern British restaurant that seats 40 covers but also offers dining in the bar area and hosts special events and weddings for 100 covers. As this is a Sous Chef role you will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to lead the other six chefs in the kitchen but also assisting with the day to day kitchen management and taking charge in their absence.
A Sous Chef who has been working in similar country house hotels where you were cooking to AA Rosette standards is required. A talented chef who is up to date with modern cooking trends with plenty of ideas for menu design but is also a confident team leader with a good grasp of kitchen management would be ideal.
