A popular dining pub located within 30 Minutes drive of Royal Tunbridge Wells is recruiting for a Sous Chef
This village pub has built a good reputation for offering high quality dining to its customers but is now seeking a Sous Chef. The pub offers a menu featuring classic pub dishes but also offers more refined dining in the restaurant with modern dishes prepared from the best produce of the season sourced from local suppliers. The pub seats 70 covers offering food every day including a Sunday lunch menu which is very popular. As Sous Chef you will be required to bring strengths to all section in the kitchen whilst also supporting the Head Chef with basic kitchen management, organising the junior chefs and running service in their absence.
A Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef who has a stable CV with jobs based in high quality, fresh food kitchens ideally within restaurants or food led pubs. Strong all round cooking skills are essential for this role but is also important that you can work well under pressure whilst taking charge of the kitchen ensuring that the standards in place are always maintained.
