A Sous Chef role is available at a top quality dining venue located in Wiltshire
A multi-AA Rosette awarded establishment is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team of chefs in the kitchen as a senior member alongside the Head Chef. The venue offers truly seasonal menus that feature plenty of local farm and estate produce as well as ingredients sourced from the kitchen garden and game. The venue has a well equipped kitchen which allows the chefs to create modern British dishes using up to date techniques. As this is a Sous Chef role you will be expected to be capable of controlling service times, organising the junior chefs and assisting with their training to ensure that they are all able to work at the high level expected.
All chefs applying to this role should have been working at Sous Chef level or be a confident Junior Sous Chef ready for the next step in their career. Previous experience working in kitchens awarded with at least one or two AA Rosettes is essential for this position. As well as being a talented chef it is essential that you have the supervisory and organisational skills needed to run a busy kitchen.
