A privately owned restaurant in Sheffield is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen
A highly regarded restaurant that serves modern European dishes is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to work within a team of five chefs. The role needs a good Sous Chef who is an all rounder in the kitchen capable of creating top quality, fine dining dishes but is also capable of taking charge of service in the Head Chefs absence and bringing new ideas to the menus. The restaurant is a popular spot throughout the week but particularly on weekends seating 60 covers for lunch and dinner.
The owners are seeking a Sous Chef who already has fine dining experience with roles based in two AA Rosette awarded kitchens. Knowledge of modern European cooking would also be a big advantage to this role. All chefs should be capable of working on all sections, running service and leading a small team from the front as well as assisting with the kitchen management.
