A small, country hotel located in Gwynedd is recruiting for a Head Chef
Role:
A country house hotel is seeking to appoint a Head Chef to take charge of the kitchen which has won several awards and accolades for the high standards of cooking produced by the team. The hotel operates a 25 cover restaurant which offers both ‘a la carte’ and TDH menus with a focus on creating dishes from as much Welsh produce as possible. The venue also hosts functions for up to 50 covers as well as offering an exclusive use wedding package. This is a privately owned venue with the owners seeking a Head Chef who can bring strength to all areas of the kitchen including the staff management; admin and the management of the department finances whilst also being creative to deliver modern dining for the guests.
Requirements:
All Head Chefs applying for this position should be experienced at this level in similar style properties where you either maintained or gained two AA Rosettes. A strong team leader who can invest the time to train and develop the junior chefs in the kitchen would be ideal. All round cooking abilities are essential but you must also be a strong kitchen manager.
