A high volume fresh food pub located in Berkshire is recruiting for a Head Chef role
A Head Chef position is available at a fresh food pub which is part of a small group offering good quality, modern British pub meals with semi-branded TDH and ‘a la carte’ menus with all dishes prepared in house.The pub is capable of seating 100 covers but is very busy at the weekends when it turns tables frequently with a fast paced service.In this role of Head Chef you will be managing the team of up to 10 chefs working under you in the kitchen ensuring that they are working to company standards at all times. At the same time you will also be taking on the responsibility for the kitchen management and running service times as well as becoming involved with menu development alongside the Group Head Chef.
A confident Head Chef who enjoys working in high quality, fresh food kitchens with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen would be ideal. Good management skills are also essential for this role as you will be expected fully control the kitchen admin and ensure that it performs financially..
