A privately owned restaurant located in Sheffield is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef
An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen of a popular, fresh food kitchen where you will be assisting the senior chefs with their roles whilst also cooking to a high standard. The restaurant has a large menu that features snacks, small plates and main meals with a focus on high quality, fresh ingredients many of which are sourced locally from the local region. As Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of running some quieter service times whilst also bringing cooking strengths to the kitchen with the ability to float between the sections.
A Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie who is ready to take a step up with a background working in fresh food restaurants either individual or branded where you were cooking from scratch with fresh ingredients is needed for this role. Good all round cooking abilities with knowledge of all sections as well as the supervisory skills needed to run service when required are essential.
