A country house hotel in Shropshire is recruiting for a Pastry Chef de Partie role
The Head Chef of the hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to focus on the pastry section in the kitchen that serves several different outlets at the hotel. In the role of Pastry Chef de Partie you will need good all round cooking skills as you will be preparing desserts for the award winning restaurant; desserts for the bar menu; desserts for the banqueting department and also creating the afternoon teas. As a result this is a varied role which will allow you to further develop your skills on pastry whilst also being encouraged to be creative and bring your own ideas to the menus.
It is important that all chefs applying for this role have already been working at Pastry Chef de Partie level with a good grasp of the section. The ability to adapt to a variety of different style of cooking is essential for this position alongside the ability to work on your own initiative and fully control your section.
