A Sous Chef role is available at a restaurant in the Ripon region of North Yorkshire
A restaurant offering high quality, seasonal Brasserie style dining is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team of six chefs working in the kitchen. Working under a talented Head Chef this role of Sous Chef will allow you to become involved in the menu planning, running service and training the junior chefs whilst remaining hands on in the kitchen floating between the sections. The restaurant is open for dinner for mid week followed by lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday then lunch on Sunday. The dishes featured on the menu offer simple dining focusing on getting the most from the high quality ingredients the kitchen uses.
A Sous Chef who is used to cooking all fresh, seasonal dishes to high standards in their previous roles is required for this venue. It is essential that all chefs have a wide knowledge of all sections in the kitchen alongside the ability to lead others from the front and take charge of the department when necessary.
